Melbourne Law School offers a range of human rights subjects in its JD and Masters programs. It also offers the breadth subject to students undertaking undergraduate studies at the University of Melbourne.

Human Rights Day

Human Rights Day is observed by the international community every year on 10 December. It commenmorates the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948.

Human Rights Day serves as a global reminder of the essential principles underpinning human dignity, equality and freedom for all individuals. Human Rights Day often includes events, discussions, and initiatives to raise awareness about human rights violations, inspire action and advocate for a more just and equitable world.
